Feeling jealous and defeated, Mr. Grump decided to come up with a plan to take Timmy down. He built a giant net and set it up under the water of the lake, right in the path of Timmy's boat.
On Timmy's next trip to the store, the net caught his boat and pulled it down under the water. The people in the town were devastated, thinking that Timmy had drowned. But Timmy was actually a very good swimmer and he managed to swim to the surface and pull his boat back up.
To the surprise of everyone, Timmy emerged from the water holding a big fish in one hand and a "Sale" sign in the other. He had used the net to catch a big fish and then used the sign to attract customers to his floating store.
Since that day, Timmy's store was even more popular than before and Mr. Grump was forced to close his store.
