Returning home after a tiring day at work, the husband finds his wife with a sad face on the sofa. He asks her:
“What do you have?”
“Nothing.”
“Maybe something I said?”
“No.”
The two are silent for a while and then he resumes: “Maybe something I did?”
“No.”
“Maybe something I should have done?”
“No.”
“Perhaps something I said, referring to something I did, but that I shouldn’t have said or done,
or that I should have said or done differently, in a way that was more respectful of your feelings and your way of being? “
The woman doesn’t answer for a while, then she says, “Maybe!”
