A prostitute loses her three sons. She goes to the police to report about them.
The police officer asks her, “Is there any way to identify them? Do you remember what they were wearing, or anything else about them that could help recognise them?”
The prostitute says, “I don’t remember what they were wearing, but yes, they do have a habit, all three of them. It doesn’t matter what you ask them. They will always deny everything.”
The cop goes out to find them. He first goes by a bar, and finds a kid laying on the floor outside the entrance. The bouncer was standing next to him. The kid was bruised, as though he just took a beating from the bouncer.
The cop asks him, “Were you not allowed inside the bar?”
The boy said, “No.”
The cop asked, just out of curiosity, “Did this man hurt you?”
The boy said, “He didn’t.”
The bouncer was surprised, because he was thinking the boy would rat him out. Seeing the bouncer’s expression, the cop put two and two together, but he didn’t understand why the boy is denying it. Then suddenly he remembered what the prostitute told him.
He slapped the boy’s back and said, “Found you, you son of a whore!”
He took him to the prostitute and asked if he was her son. She said yes and took him from the cop.
The cop went out to find the second son. He was driving his car next to a flyover when he noticed a boy under the bridge, shivering.
The cop pulled by and asked him, “Are you cold?”
“I’m not!” The boy shouted.
The cop thought this kid was rude, but then he felt something fishy. Why is he saying this when he’s clearly shivering? So just to be sure, he asked another question.
“Are you sitting under a bridge?”
“I’m not!” The boy shouted again.
The cop slapped his back and said, “Found you, you son of a whore!”
He took him to the prostitute and asked if he was her son. She said yes and took him from the cop.
The cop went out to find the third son. He decided to look around and see if he could find the third son that day itself.
